The City of Elkader is currently accepting applications for entry-level or lateral transfer Peace Officer.
Interested candidates must meet Iowa Law Enforcement Academy requirements. (please note: physical and written exam waived for in-state, fully certified candidates.)
The successful candidate must be highly motivated, an excellent problem solver, ethical, team oriented, flexible, and dedicated to the principles of community policing.
