Located on the east edge of Elkader, Turkey River Park, located on the east edge of Elkader, has a boat access on the Turkey River, a restroom and picnic shelter. Paddlers putting in at Turkey River Park can can take out at Motor Mill (about 2 hours) or go to Garber (about 6 hours). Both trips have scenic views of Northeast Iowa’s limestone bluffs and forests.
