In 2026, the pool will open June 5th.
The last day is generally the day before school starts in August (depending on the weather and staffing).
Forms for 2026 swim lessons are now available. Use this form for class style lessons. Use this form for private/individual lessons. Call City Hall if you have questions about lessons. We will connect you with the Pool Manager, who is in charge of scheduling lessons.
Pool Hours
Hours during the first few weeks of pool season may vary. Check the pool’s Facebook page Elkader Swimming Pool for hours updates. All hours are weather permitting and over 70 degrees.
Admission Fees
Season passes may be purchased at City Hall, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or at the pool after Memorial Day.
Season Pass:
• Family season pass is $175.
• Single season pass is $100.
• 3 day pass is $12.
Daily admission: $5; $3 for age 3 and under
