Stroll, picnic, play or camp in our lovely 3-acre shaded city park near the Turkey River. The Veteran’s Memorial is located between the City Park and the Pool. The City Park is part of the campus that includes the Rural Heritage Museum and the Train Depot Museum (opening 2023).

Camping
There are about 60 RV sites (15 water connections and each has four faucets and 26 electrical posts with 1 each of 50, 30 and 20 AMP) and another 45-50 tent sites. A conveniently located bathhouse offers hot showers. Campers also have access to firewood and a sewer disposal site.
We do not take reservations. The campground is first come/first serve. There is a booth to register (see map below). There are no assigned spots.
Elkader City Campground opens for the season April 1st WEATHER PERMITTING and closes November 1st.

Shelter Rental
