The Elkader Cinema first opened its doors in 1941 until ceasing operations in 1975. The theatre was restored, including the original marquee, and fully reopened in 2003. The Elkader Cinema is the only movie theater in Clayton County. This beautifully restored cinema offers nostalgic charm paired with the comforts and luxuries of a modern upscale movie theatre.
