October Utility Bills
For the utility bills mailed on October 1st, the readings for consumption (or usage) are for a longer period of time. Therefore the amounts attributed to the WA and SE codes on your utility bill will be more than typical. The charges for consumption will be for roughly six weeks instead of four weeks.
Meters are currently read around the 15th of the month. They will now be read at the end of the month. This should be less confusing for customers because it will correspond better with the monthly charges for base rate and refuse collection.
The bill sent in the beginning of November will be for four weeks of consumption.
