BID NOTICE
The City of Elkader is taking bids for a 2009 Kenworth pumper.
- Recent pump test done
- 1,000 gallon tank
- 1,250 Waterous top mount pump
- 23,000 miles
- 1,100 hours
- Only reason selling is to upgrade.
- Please take possession no later than October 31, 2026. However this assumes new pumper is delivered and operational by then.
- Pick-up only – seller will not pay for delivery costs.
- A reserve price of $150,000.00 has been set.

- The truck is being sold “as is” and without a warranty.
- Bids not following the above guidelines will not be accepted. The City reserves the right to accept or refuse any bid.
