Author Jay “Jay Jay” Goodvin will be giving a presentation on his recently published book “Rural Iowa Sausage: History & Tradition of Brats on the Backroads” at the Osborne Nature Center on Friday, February 9^th at 10:00 AM. Jay is Chief Explorer on The Iowa Gallivant, Host and Voice of Iowa Irish in Downtown-Waterloo, regular contributor for Little Village Magazine Bread and Butter Magazine, KXEL Radio, and constant promoter of communities all over the map.

In Rural Iowa Sausage Jay recants the history of the famous lockers, famous products, and dedicated Iowa customers. Including history and information on some of the past and present northeast Iowa meat lockers and some of their special offerings. Everyone is welcome to attend and listen to Jay’s presentation, registration is not required.
