The next Older, Wiser, Livelier, Souls program will be on Thursday, June 15th. This year’s theme is “Iowa, Then and Now”, and June’s destination will be to visit the George Maier Rural Heritage Center in Elkader. Participants should meet at Osborne Park to leave at 10:45 AM and carpool to the destination.
O.W.L.S. will explore Iowa’s rich history at this unique museum that is part of the Silos and Smokestacks Heritage Area. The museum spotlights George Maier’s personal collection of artifacts from rural Iowa that he saved and collected over a lifetime.
Reservations are required. Reserve your spot today by calling (563) 245-1516 or visit the Osborne Nature Center. Osborne Nature Center is located on HWY 13 five miles south of Elkader.
