O.W.L.S. Silos and Smokestacks Grand Tour: Amana Colonies

Join Older, Wiser, Livelier, Souls for the 2025 grand tour of the Silos and Smokestacks National Heritage Area. July’s destination will be a visit to the Amana Colonies. Please meet at Osborne Park at 9:15 to carpool to our destination.

This O.W.L.S. adventure will take you to tour several of the colony’s attractions to learn about these fascinating villages steeped in German heritage. Join us the 3^rd Thursday of each month, March through November, for O.W.L.S., Older Wiser Livelier Souls. Each month will feature a new Silos and Smokestacks Site, so join us as we explore more of the Silos and Smokestacks National Heritage Area.
