O.W.L.S. Iowa Dairy Center Tour

Join the O.W.L.S. as we tour the Iowa Dairy Center located south of Calmar on HWY-150. We will be doing a guided tour of the Iowa Dairy Museum along with walking through the various other facilities on the site.

We will be viewing the state-of-the-art robotic milking facility that was added to the farm in 2013 which milks around 160 of the farms Holstein cows in total! Tour will also include a walkthrough of the free stall barn, maternity barn, calf barn, and the hall of breeds.

The group will leave from Osborne Park at 10:00 a.m. and the tour will begin at 11:00 a.m. After the tour we will stop at a local restaurant for lunch & plan to return to Osborne by 4:00 PM. Reservations are required for this event, so call 563-245-1516 early to ensure a spot.
