It’s time to Get Your Jingle On in Elkader on Friday, November 3rd. This First Friday event is a chance for you to get a jump start on the holiday season.  There will be plenty of activities for all ages from 4:00-6:00 at participating businesses. A list of activities can be found on the Elkader Chamber Web page as the date gets closer.  From 6:00-7:00 we invite everyone to continue the fun at  Founders’ Park for hot chocolate, cookies and live music by Kenny Slocum.  The traditional Thomas Tree Lighting will take place at 7:00 p.m.  There might even be a special guest appearance if he can get away from his toy workshop!  In case of inclement weather festivities will be moved to FreedomBank Community Room.
