Clayton County Conservation Summer Camps
Clayton County Conservation presents the 2023 summer camp schedule.
Junior Naturalist Program (JNP) camps are offered only to 6th-10th grade students. The JNP is an overnight camp program that focuses on exploring nature and the environment. Activities are led by naturalists at the Osborne Center, local resource specialists and sportsmen. 2023 JNP camps will be held June 20-21, June 27-28, and July 11-13.
Summer Youth Day Camps are full-day outdoor programs from 9am-2pm for children ages 6-12. Each camp will focus on a different theme, but all campers will get a chance to search for wildlife, make crafts, go on hikes, and hone their nature awareness skills while exploring the parks of Clayton County. 2023 Youth Day Camps will be held on June 1, 8, & 15th as well as July 6 and 27th.
Motor Mill S.T.E.A.M. camps are a fun filled day exploring historic Motor Mill as we discover the connections between science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and art with nature. This day camp is open to ages 6-12 years old, by the end of the day they all will be masters of STEAM! 2023 Motor Mill S.T.E.A.M. camps will be held July 21 and Aug 11.

Osborne Nature Center is located on HWY 13 five miles south of Elkader. The center is open for winter hours from 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday-Friday.
