George Maier Rural Heritage Center

The Museum ensures the preservation and care of the historic items collected by George Maier. The collection chronicles rural life in Clayton County and NE Iowa. It includes antique farm equipment, tool, advertising and signs, musical instruments, photos, and other daily living items. The newest display highlights George's military time and showcases uniforms from all military branches. The center is open May - October on weekends.
