This First Friday event is a chance for you to get a jump start on the holiday season.  There will be plenty of activities for all ages from 4:00-6:00 at participating businesses. A list of activities can be found on the Elkader Chamber Web page as the date gets closer.  From 6:00-7:00 we invite everyone to continue the fun at Founders’ Park for hot chocolate\, cookies and live music with Kenny Slocum.  The traditional Thomas Tree Lighting will take place at 7:00 p.m.  There might even be a special guest appearance if he can get away from his toy workshop! You can begin filling those punch cards for a chance to win $25 in Chamber Dollars each week until Christmas and/or the grand prize of  two $250 in Chamber Dollars to be drawn on January 3rd.  The businesses are ready to help you get a jump start on getting ready for Christmas today.
