This year’s theme is “Iowa\, Then and Now”\, and March’s program will be “Lion’s Wolves\, & Bears…OH MY!” \nAre you looking for an excuse to get out of the house\, meet new friends and enjoy a meal while you learn about our area? Join us the 3rd Thursday of each month\, March through November\, for O.W.L.S.\, Older Wiser Livelier Souls. March’s topic will be “Lion’s Wolves\, & Bears…OH MY!” Naturalist Abbey Harkrader will present this program on the history of Iowa’s largest predators.  Bring a dish to share for a potluck meal after the program. \nReservations are required. Sign up today for the Motor Motor 5K/10K Trail Runs\, hosted by Clayton County Conservation and the Turkey River Recreational Corridor! \nRegister before March 12th for early bird pricing (5K $20\, 10K $30) and secure a goodie bag. Same day registration is available. Both race distances make use of the rugged and beautiful scenery of the Turkey River Valley. The 5K takes place on primitive hiking trails\, while the 10K utilizes the lime-surface Motor Mill trail. \nProceeds from this year’s event will go towards the Osborne Campground project.
