In 1988 Paul and Gloria Olson opened their first appliance store in a rented location on Bridge Street where they sold only Amana appliances. Prior to 1988 Paul worked for fifteen years in the appliance department at McTaggart's Furniture specializing in microwave oven repair. In 1989 Olsons purchased their current building at 201 S. Main St. and added the Maytag and Crosley lines.
